Chocolates by Tomes is a confectionary manufacturer specializing in the manufacture of premium quality origin chocolate and handcrafted semi-finished and finished chocolate confectionary.

As a company we are committed to employment equity, our current BEE rating is a Level 4. All our staff are from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and have all received and continue to receive thorough training.

We are working towards HACCAP certification which will be fully implemented in our new factory when we move to bigger premises in December 2009.

We have continuous development programs to select and use more traditional ingredients in our chocolate, as well as sourcing fair trade and organic ingredients.

We endeavor to provide our clients with a prompt and efficient service and where feasible we are able to produce bespoke products.

We draw our inspiration from trends around the world but ensure that we retain our African identity by sourcing ingredients locally.
